Job Summary
Job Title: Driver (1099 Contractor)
Location: Columbus OH (All trips originate from Columbus)
Pay: $200/day overtime ($35/hour after 8 hours)
Job Type: Contract (1099) Part-Time / As Needed
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and professional driver for scheduled trips originating in Columbus OH. This is a 1099 contractor position with flexible scheduling typically 24 trips per month.
Trips involve transporting 12 passengers to destinations such as Cleveland OH and Pittsburgh PA using a company-provided vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at clients residence at scheduled time
- Leave personal vehicle at pickup location
- Operate company vehicle safely and professionally
- Transport passengers to and from destinations
- Submit invoices after each trip
- Collect and submit gas receipts
Compensation
- $200 daily rate (guaranteed)
- $35/hour for time exceeding 8 hours
- Time calculated from departure to return
Requirements
- Must be available with at least 48-hour notice
- Clean driving record
- Must pass background check
- Professional punctual and reliable
- Comfortable transporting 12 passengers
