Position: Painter/Equipment Repair

Reports to: Director of Maintenance

Supervises: None

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. Work cooperatively with students teachers and co-workers.
3. Some skilled positions may be required to hold current license & keep license active.
4. Will be multi-skilled in two or more areas of work or in the same work field.
5. Previous experience in area of skill.
6. Must hold a valid drivers license and qualify for school insurance.
7. Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
8. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal:To have qualified and skilled personnelthatare able to repair all buildings and assist in all other types of maintenance to these buildings.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. All skilled personnel of any type at this level will be multi-skilled and be able to use their special talents in a quality manner and ina professional manner on a daily basis.
2. All multi-skilled personnel in the construction trades will be proficient in their area and be able to do whatever is necessary to complete the job assigned to them.
3. Personnel on this level will be able to coordinate other skilled staff members when working on a joint building or remodeling project.
4. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Employment Terms: Twelve (12) month classified hourly contract

FLSA Qualification: Non-Exempt

Occasional Requirements: Reach with hands and arms overhead above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 80 pounds.

Visual Requirements: Close color peripheral depth perception ability to adjust focus.

Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information.
