Job description:
We are looking for someone to join our Advanced Engineering Team as a Machinist!
Our 1st shift hours at 7am-3pm but we can be flexible.
Primary Role
Provide high-quality machined components in a timely and cost-effective manner. The CNC Machinist is central to our production process ensuring parts and assemblies meet precise specifications while supporting a clean organized and efficient shop environment.
What Success Looks Like
A successful CNC Machinist in this role will:
- Program set up and operate CNC machines to consistently produce quality parts and assemblies.
- Edit programs and adjust setups as needed to improve efficiency and part quality.
- Maintain and organize prints programs setup sheets and layout information.
- Operate manual machines including Bridgeport mills lathes and grinders as needed.
- Keep tools equipment work areas and inventory clean and well-organized.
- Approach work with attention to detail and a commitment to quality at every step.
Desired Qualifications
CNC Programming & Operation
- Experience programming CNC equipment using WorkNC or a comparable CAM software
- Working knowledge of G-code and M-code used in CNC programs
- Ability to plan and process machining operations from start to finish
Manual Machining & Hand Tools
- Ability to set up and operate mills grinders saws lathes and drill presses
- Experience using hand tools and assist with building machine components and assemblies
Measurement & Print Reading
- Proficiency reading and interpreting part and assembly drawings
- Ability to use precision measurement tools including micrometers height gauges and indicators
Work Style & Mindset
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused in all tasks
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of tooling materials and injection molding processes
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar 3D design software
Physical Demands
Medium work required.

- CNC programming: 2 years (Required)
- WorkNC or Soldiworks: 2 years (Required)
