We Are Looking For
The Production Planning Coordinator will take ownership of the master production schedule and support cable manufacturing operations. This individual will collaborate with the Production team to ensure orders are sent to the production floor in a timely manner and the schedule is kept up to date.
What Youll Do
As a Production Planning Coordinator you will:
- Track production order progress through production and update schedules
- Review the master schedule to our lead time of each operation to meeting shipping dates according to sales forecasts and customer orders
- Schedule workflow for each product line and operation according to previously established manufacturing lead times
- Communicate with department supervisors and line leaders to determine status of assigned projects and workload
- Monitor workflow through the department to ensure customer or forecast build schedules are met
- Establish best practices for inventory reduction
- Attend customer calls to facilitate learning the business requirements
- Expedite production orders to assist with Customer needs
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
- Excellent communication skills
Special Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
- ITAR Requirement
- 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
