The Site Manager I leads day to day site operations with a focus on safety consistency and service excellence. This role guides employees in following established procedures while maintaining productivity quality and compliance across the site as well as drives financial performance of the site.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Maintain a safe work environment update work instructions and ensure incidents injuries and equipment issues are documented and addressed
Allocate staff equipment and other assets to meet work demands and support project needs
Host customer visits review site performance and develop improvement actions
Manage expenses verify coding on purchases and keep spending within monthly budgets
Oversee supplier communication and coordinate resolution as needed
Recruit coach and develop employees support succession planning and manage performance expectations
Complete administrative personnel tasks including performance reviews coaching documentation separations timecard approvals expense reporting and transfers
Arrange employee travel and coordinate support for work across locations
Lead weekly operational review meetings and follow up on missed opportunities or performance gaps
Ensure equipment repair and maintenance are completed on schedule
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree and two years related experience or high school diploma or equivalent and four years related experience
One year experience as an Assistant Site Manager or equivalent supervising operational teams in logistics construction industrial services or a similar environment
At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with customers resolve conflict and train a diverse team
Comfortable working with computers and digital tools to support daily operations
Valid drivers license
Ability to travel as required
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This position is on site. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments. Specific requirements include:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
Must be able to enter and exit tight areas for the purpose of performing audits
Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
Must be able to work beyond normal operating hours as determined by business demands
Travel up to 25%
