Job Summary
Role Purpose
Location- Ruddington Nottingham
Level - Support Role
Department - Legal & Compliance
Working Pattern - 3 days a week ( Tues - Thurs)

Responsibilities
- Drafting reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements in line with business requirements
- Providing clear timely and pragmatic legal and contractual advice to internal stakeholders
- Identifying contractual and legal risks and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation strategies
- Managing reviewing and updating standard form contracts and legal templates
- Liaising with internal teams and external parties to support contract negotiations and relationship management
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the legal team including process development and implementation
- Supporting the business in maintaining compliance with relevant laws regulations and internal policies
- Delivering legal and contractual training to key stakeholders where required
Skills and Experience
- You hold a law degree or equivalent legal qualification
- You have experience working with commercial contracts ideally in a business-focused environment
- You demonstrate strong negotiation skills with a practical solution-oriented approach
- You communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally with a high level of attention to detail
- You work collaboratively and build positive relationships across teams and with a variety of stakeholders
- You are organised adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- You bring enthusiasm curiosity and a genuine interest in developing your expertise in commercial law
