Nursing Vault Plus Staffing is currently seeking a high-impact SAP Transportation Management (TM) Subject Matter Expert to support a critical 5-month engagement for one of our premier clients. This is a pure functional leadership role designed for an architect who thrives on optimizing complex logistics networks within high-compliance environments.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities

As the SAP TM SME you will serve as the functional lead responsible for the integrity and performance of the transportation landscape. Your mission includes:

• Expert Leadership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for SAP TM ensuring all designs align with business needs and SAP best practices.
  

• Requirement Architecture: Gather and document complex business requirements and translate them into high-quality Functional Specifications.
  

• Hands-on Configuration: Perform deep-dive SAP TM configuration and solution design to optimize logistics and transportation processes.
  

• Testing Oversight: Lead and support critical testing phases including Unit Testing Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  

• Process Optimization: Analyze end-to-end transportation workflows to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end solution delivery.
  

• Troubleshooting: Rapidly resolve functional and system issues to maintain project timelines.
  

Qualifications

• SAP TM Mastery: Proven track record in SAP TM functional design and backend configuration.
  

• Documentation Excellence: Expert-level skills in writing functional specifications testing scripts and process maps.
  

• Industry Experience: Aerospace & Defense (A&D) experience is a significant plus particularly knowledge of compliance-heavy logistics.
  

• Communication: Exceptional ability to lead remote design workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  

• Reliability: Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced 5-month sprint.
