Contract: 13 weeks
Location: Springfield VT
Hourly Pay: $ 33.50
Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
Weekly Total Pay: $2251.00
Weekend Requirements: None/Holiday coverage if required
Traveler Policy: This facility will not consider any traveler who resides within 50 miles of facility. To avoid delays in processing please provide perm address at profile upload.
Typical patient ratio: 8/day Monday-Thursday 6 on Friday.
** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Our Outpatient PT clinics are closed for major holidays.
** This traveler will be able to provide evaluations and treatments including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises for patients with varying diagnoses including post operative care joint replacement back pain tendonitis issues general deconditioning balance and vertigo issues.
** PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL TRAVELERS UPLOADED TO NEEDS ON MY DESK NOTE WHEN THEY CAN BE REACHED AND HAVE VOICEMAIL SET UP ON THEIR PHONES. TRAVELERS WITHOUT VOICEMAIL SET UP WHEN A FACILITY REACHES OUT WILL BE REDIRECTED.
Our approach to physical therapy includes direct involvement with each patient combining advanced hands-on techniques with patient education and individualized rehabilitative programs. Each of our therapists has training in a wide variety of traditional techniques and many also have training in non-traditional treatment methods. Were Helping Patients Who Have:
Orthopaedic and sports injuries
Gait training
Balance training fractures sprains and dislocations
Musculoskeletal dysfunctions
Neck and back pain
Neurological disorders (such as stroke and Parkinsons)
Balance and fall prevention
Bone and joint diseases
Hand injuries
Workplace injuries
Pelvic floor dysfunction
Incontinence
Pulmonary rehabilitation
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing patient medical histories
Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
Developing individualized patient treatment plans
Outlining clear patient goals and the expected plan outcomes
Using exercises stretching equipment and hands-on therapy to manage patients pain increase mobility and prevent further pain and injury
Recording patient progress and modifying the plan of care if needed
Educating patients and family members about the recovery process
2 years CURRENT PT experience Required (New grads will not be considered for this need)
DOCTORATE is required
Updated CAQH must be provided after start
NPI must be provided after start
Must be flexible - Will need to work Inpatient PT as needed
Must be able to treat all normal diagnoses seen in outpatient clinics.
Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy is required
Previous Rehab Experience is required
Previous travel experience is strongly preferred
CPSI EMR experience is highly Preferred
Active American Heart Association BLS is required
Previous experience working with PTAs is preferred
This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
