Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm)Benefits:Earn up to an additional $100 a month in Attendance Bonus ($1200 annual value)On Demand Pay: Access your pay as soon as youve earned it!New employees are eligible for the following benefits effective date of hire!Medical dental and vision benefitsCompany-paid life insurance and disability benefitsGenerous Paid time off and 10 paid Holidays401k Plan with Company MatchTuition ReimbursementVoluntary Universal Life and Long-Term CareVoluntary Legal PlanPet InsuranceHome Ownership ProgramJob Description:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of all equipment HVAC and electrical systems and routine maintenance utilizing the preventive maintenance duties and responsibilities:Conduct preventive maintenance per the schedule for all equipment assigned to reduce downtime and prevent failuresPerform unscheduled servicing of equipment after a problem is discoveredEmploy the strategies of 5S in order to maintain an efficient work area; clean well ordered and maintaining the right types and amounts of spare partsMaintain accurate records of maintenance issues on all equipmentFollow the proper methods and procedures for the handling of non-hazardous waste in the plant and removal of waste from the plantDeal with outside contractors for routine maintenance items/service contracts when necessaryEnsure cleaning schedules are adhered to per PM-015 and maintenance schedulesKeep work area cleanOther duties as necessaryRequirements:At least 1 year in a Maintenance Technician position at a manufacturing facility responsible for maintaining equipment and systemsAble to use all the tools necessary to conduct the work involved with maintaining Viant Medicals equipment and building systemsAble to use the computer specifically spreadsheets word processing and data base programs as well as experience with PM systemsAble to give and follow instructions both written and verbalEffectively communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside contractorsExcellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities with many time constraintsEnvironmental working conditionsAbility to spend time using your hands to handle control reach or feel objects tools or controlsWill spend extended periods of time standing and walking throughout the shopOccasionally required to sit stoop kneel bend crouch bend and twistAbility to lift up to 80 physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
