Job Summary
Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Job Summary
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory ensuring proper storage of materials and supporting smooth warehouse/store operations. The role involves receiving storing issuing goods maintaining stock records and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Ensure proper storage of goods in designated locations following safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate stock records (manual or system-based)
- Issue materials as per requisition and maintain proper documentation
- Conduct regular stock checks cycle counts and inventory audits
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock to management
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishment
- Ensure cleanliness organization and safety within the store/warehouse
- Handle material movement labeling and proper stacking
- Maintain records of damaged or expired items and take necessary action
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly inventory reports
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma / Any Degree
- Experience: 2 to 5 years as a Storekeeper or in warehouse/store operations
- Experience in construction / manufacturing / trading industry preferred
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP software
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock management
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel ERP systems)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle physical work and material handling
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and warehouse procedures
