Job Summary
The Chef is responsible for planning preparing and delivering high-quality food while maintaining hygiene safety and kitchen standards. The role involves menu development kitchen supervision and ensuring consistency in taste presentation and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes as per menu standards
- Plan menus and suggest new recipes based on customer preferences
- Ensure food quality taste and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for ingredients
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items
- Control food costs wastage and portion sizes
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma / Certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook (minimum 25 years preferred)
- Experience in multi-cuisine or specialized cuisine (preferred)

- Strong cooking and food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
