Job Summary
Dean of Students needed in an International School in Ahmedabad.

Job Purpose:
The Dean of Students is responsible for fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment by ensuring the well-being safety and personal development and academic progress of students. The role involves working closely with students parents teachers and school leadership to promote positive behavior emotional well-being and a culture of care aligned with IB/CIE philosophy and values.
Responsibilities -
Student Well Being and Support
Behavior Management
Student Engagement
Administration and Compliance Responsibilities
Qualification - Bachelors or Masters degree in Education Psychology Counseling or a related field.
Experience -
5 to 7 years of in a pastoral or student support role within an IB/CIE school setting.
Experience in behavior management student well-being programs and child safeguarding.
Training or certification in counseling mental health or safeguarding is preferred.
Strong understanding of IB/CIE pastoral care principles and values.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy active listening and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with students staff and parents.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding protocols.
