Job Summary
Career Counselor / College Counselor needed in an International School in Ahmedabad.
Joining in June
Role - As a Career & College Counselor you will support students in exploring career options navigating college admissions and making confident well-informed decisions about higher education and beyond.
You will work closely with students parents faculty and universities to ensure each student receives personalized ethical and structured guidance throughout their college and career journey.
Key Responsibilities
Guide students through college entrance and application processes.
Support students with entrance exam planning registrations timelines and score requirements.
Ensure students meet academic and application deadlines.
Individual Counseling: Provide excellent data-driven university career and academic counseling based on the practices and expectations of School and Career Guidance Programme.
Support students in aligning academic choices with long-term goals.
Assist students in building realistic and achievable post-school plans.
Coordinate logistics for college visits and university interactions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Bridge U access and usage.
Maintain accurate student records including transcripts test scores report cards and conduct records.
Organize workshops and information sessions for students and parents.
Qualifications & Skills
Understanding of Indian and International Higher Education:
Possess expert knowledge and experience of university systems and application procedures for the UK USA Canada Hong Kong Singapore Australia Europe and Japan.
Excellent counseling communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Ability to work with diverse student populations and aspirations.
High professionalism empathy and confidentiality.
Comfort working with digital platforms and student information systems.
Collaborative proactive and student-centered mindset.
