We are hiring Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) Technician into our Hospital at Dublin Ireland.
Location: On-site Dublin Ireland
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Make sure that the right policies and procedures are always followed.
- Every day the stock is rotated.
- Make sure that autoclaves and washer disinfectors are inspected every day before being utilized.
- Every department will have a staff rotation.
- To guarantee that the department is always maintained tidy.
- Regarding patient data and hospital operations confidentiality is always upheld.
- To foster positive working relationships with coworkers.
- Organize the workload to guarantee that services are provided and that the right standards are always followed.
- Inform the supervisor or department manager of any unusual occurrences.
- Help with the onboarding of new employees.
- Make sure you stay current on any new procedures about the Department.
Requirements
- Hold a relevant Certificate or Diploma with education equivalent to Leaving Certificate standard.
- Demonstrate basic computer literacy and proficiency in using workplace systems.
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Have prior experience in Sterile Services or a healthcare setting (preferred).
- Maintain a good working knowledge of EN ISO standards relevant to Sterile Services.
- Stay up to date with developments in Sterile Services and share knowledge with team members.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Exhibit strong organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently.
