American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in Tacoma WA looking for a dual-threat CNC Machinist. This is a high-level role for a professional who thrives on the complexity of aerospace components and high-tolerance manufacturing.

What Youll Do as a CNC Machinist:

• Multiaxis Milling: Set up program and operate 3-axis 4-axis and 5-axis CNC mills
• Lathe Operations: Set up and operate CNC lathes (experience with live tooling is a major plus!).
• Technical Interpretation: Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings blueprints and GD&T standards.
• Strategy & Setup: Independently select appropriate tooling speeds feeds and workholding for diverse materials.

Details for CNC Machinist:

• Pay Rate:$28.00 $36.00/hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Monday Friday
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (Opportunities for Overtime available!)

Requirements for CNC Machinist:

• Aerospace Fluency: Expert ability to read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
• Independence: Ability to develop complete programs from scratch including toolpath strategy
• Ability to operate CNC Lathe
