Job Summary
COMPANY OVERVIEW: MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers including component modules (chassis cockpit and front-end module) core system eco-friendly and DAS-mechatronics. Mobis delivers the design and development of advanced engineering autonomous driving infotainment component modules safety brake and steering systems lamp ICS/electronics and software development solutions that consider the safety and convenience of our customers as well as the future.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support ADAS feature development and customer change requests using the Model-Based Development environment to meet feature-level requirements and integrate within the production embedded software environment.
- Develop detailed test cases and test scripts for MIL and SIL verification.
- Work with the software team to integrate and autocode feature models for production software.
- Execute test plans to verify system functionality across MIL SIL HIL and vehicle levels.
- Validate mass-produced ADAS features at customer locations in close collaboration with the customer and lead debugging efforts to resolve issues.
- Perform system-level debugging across software and hardware boundaries and drive issues to closure.
- Execute end-of-line (EOL) verification at customer plant facilities to support vehicle sign-off.
- Support the development build and validation of promotional and demo vehicles.
- Lead and coordinate debugging activities with cross-functional teams to identify root cause confirm fixes and propose protections against future regressions.
- Collaborate closely with software developers controls engineers systems engineers and test engineers across the organization.
- Prepare and present detailed verification reports test results and technical findings to internal and external stakeholders.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above tasks relating to the following areas will be assigned as required:

- Entry-level to 5 years of industry experience related to ADAS software development and validation.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and automotive testing methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with automotive test instrumentation and validation tools.
- Proficiency in automotive communication protocols including CAN CAN FD and Automotive Ethernet.
- Hands-on experience using Vector tools such as CANape and CANalyzer.
- Experience using dSPACE ControlDesk or equivalent development and validation tools.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C/C Python MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong system-level debugging and root-cause analysis skills across software and hardware domains.
- Experience working in an Agile or V-Cycle software development environment.
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes including requirements design implementation verification and validation activities.
- Knowledge and experience with a variety of sensors (radars ultrasonics camera systems and LiDAR).
- Experience with software development processes including automated build and test in a test-driven development environment.
- Experience supporting mass-production ADAS feature launches.
- Experience working directly with OEM customers at test tracks or plant facilities.
- Experience in building and validating promotional vehicles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Empathetic collaboration and effective interaction with co-workers across disciplines and organizations.
- Demonstrated initiative resilience strong work ethic and a desire for continuous learning.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional fast-paced development environments.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Masters degree is a plus.
- Entry-level to 5 years of relevant industry experience in ADAS software development and validation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to support testing activities in vehicle lab and plant environments.
- Ability to travel to customer locations test tracks and plant facilities as required.
- Ability to perform hands-on work with test equipment vehicles and instrumentation.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- Standard business hours with flexibility based on project milestones testing schedules and customer support needs.
- Extended hours or weekend work may be required to support validation events customer activities or production launches.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
TRAVEL:
- Occasional international travel
- Frequent local travel
