YOUR IMPACT

The Investment Banking Team is looking for a VP to be based in Hong Kong to cover our Consumer Retail Group (CRG) with good exposure to China and non-China deals in this sector.

Theywork in developed and emerging markets worldwide to deliver banking services for a wide range of industries. Our team approach to client service enables our bankers to play an important role in building relationships and executing transactions. Classic investment bankers have expertise advising clients across industries regions and products in this case with a focus on our Consumer Retail Group.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES

Our bankers play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships participating on our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Their responsibilities include analyzing financial models organizing and preparing client presentations executing transaction processes and assisting in origination. They will gain exposure to the firms businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry as they develop key analytical communications and marketing skills.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelors degree in a financial discipline.
• Minimum 5-7 years investment banking or equivalent experience.
• Experience working within M&A / IB ideally covering Consumer / Retail clients across Asia with exposure to both China and non-China clients and transactions
• Proficiency in Mandarin Cantonese and English is ideal.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and a deep understanding of transaction nuances specific to retail and consumer sector.
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions.
