Pronto Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a local production team.
Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a Lab Technician to help test and process raw this role you will work in a lab setting to prepare samples and ensure products meet quality standards. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and basic math.
Responsibilities
Mix and prepare raw material samples for testing
Use lab tools and equipment to perform analytical tests
Use basic math to measure the size purity and hardness of items
Keep accurate records of all test results and projects
Follow all safety rules including wearing proper safety gear
Assist with various lab projects as needed by the team
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent or related experience/training
Ability to quickly identify different types of materials
Basic math skills for performing calculations
Strong communication skills in English
Reliable team-oriented and focused on quality
Ability to work overtime as needed
Work Environment
Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds regularly
Safety-sensitive position requiring the use of protective gear (PPE)
Requires following strict safety procedures like lock-out tag-out
Must wear jeans a t-shirt and steel-toe boots
