Harvest Truck Driver-Yard Labor (Columbus OH)

Details:

• Pay rate: $21/ hour
• Shift: 1st shift 7am- 3:30pm Monday- Friday
• During the months of October and November there will be a need for some Overtime after normal hours and some weekend work as well.
• Temporary contract position with Raise with potential for fulltime with ADM.
• Completion of Background Check required before offer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Dump and load trucks
• Assist with grain handling
• General housekeeping duties
• Willing to work overtime and weekends
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
• Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
• Harvest position seasonal support to end of Harvest in mid to late November.

Job Preference:

• Preferred experience operating manual transmission trucks.
• Drives Semi truck/trailer to on site location no CDL required as no driving will go outside site
• Maintains truck log accounting to state and federal regulations
• Cleans inspects and services vehicle

Job Requirements:

• Commitment to ADMs goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures

Educational Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent is preferred
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance

Physical Requirements:

• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting working in confined spaces and from heights bending kneeling climbing stairs and ladders working in a variety of conditions (heat cold dust etc) lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
