Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Lincoln Park MIShift: Monday Friday 6:00AM 3:30PM (potential to move to 2nd shift)Pay Rate: $23-25 based on experiencePosition Overview:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and the facility. This role ensures that all production equipment and building systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems and can troubleshoot and repair equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing Responsibilities:Perform routine preventive and emergency maintenance on production machinery and repair and maintain electrical mechanical and hydraulic general building maintenance including plumbing HVAC lighting and structural accurate maintenance logs and documentation of repairs and in planning and implementing maintenance schedules to minimize with production and operations teams to quickly resolve equipment compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance proper inventory of tools parts and improvements or upgrades to equipment and building Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in maintenance electrical or mechanical fields experience in machinery maintenance building maintenance and electrical work (license not required hands-on experience sufficient).Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and time management organizational and communication to work independently and as part of a to work various shifts including overtime if Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive to operate warehouse equipment to work in cold/freezer environments for extended walking and bending as part of daily duties.
