What is the role

Due to our further expanding operations we are excited for the opportunity to add to our growing team by seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician or Automotive Electrician to join our Wollongong Calibration Centre NSW.

You will be required to travel to our customers to carry out vehicle inspections to an exact standard including road tests to ensure all vehicles are returned to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)specifications using an OEM Scan Tool and aftermarket diagnostic equipment and software. Other tasks include diagnostics and repair calibration coding and programming.

ADAS is looking for our next driven technician that brings a self-motivating can-do attitude when connecting with customers team members and suppliers. Were looking for Technicians that:

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (equivalent).

• Hold a minimum of 5 years industry experience with a Main Dealer or recognised aftermarket background (desirable).

• Show a demonstrated capability to inspect and diagnose vehicles to OEM standards.

• Have a current Australian Drivers Licence (Class C) with clean driving record and prior experience driving a Long Wheel Based Vehicle.

• Holds Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) accreditation (highly desirable).

• Focus on high quality outcomes and exceed customer expectations.
