Job Summary
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking an Epic Template Builder for a contract assignment in the Tacoma WA area. This role will support a healthcare organization transitioning from NextGen to Epic focusing on template build system support and data entry.
Assignment Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Project-based (Epic conversion support)
- Schedule: Full-time MondayFriday
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Epic template or content build experience
- Minimum 5 years working in an Epic environment (super user or similar role)
- Experience supporting Epic implementations or system conversions preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Excel and Teams
Responsibilities
- Design and build scheduling templates in Epic for clinical and support staff
- Work with internal teams to identify template needs and timelines
- Update and adjust templates based on staffing and operational changes
- Perform manual data entry and migration tasks within Epic
- Support staff with best practices and guidance on Epic scheduling workflows
- Collaborate with IT and project teams throughout the system transition
