As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in an education location serving as a welcoming presence for students staff and this stationary role you will manage access monitor front desk activity support security-related procedures and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring culture teamwork and integrity you will help create a professional and responsive environment where people come first.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for an educational location.
• Monitor visitor entry check identification and/or credentials and guide students staff guests and vendors in accordance with front desk access protocols.
• Answer phones greet incoming guests and document arrivals departures deliveries and/or unusual activity in a clear and professional manner.
• Respond to incidents questions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
• Support front desk operations by maintaining awareness of lobby activity reporting maintenance or access concerns and helping to deter unauthorized entry or disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
