The Senior Manager of Process Management leads the team responsible for driving process excellence across the role is pivotal in delivering on PM&Is ambition to optimise core business processes enable digital transformation and support the implementation and enablement of agentic operations at scale.

This position is a PM&I Management Team role and is accountable for the formal people management of a multidisciplinary team (including process design / process management and business enterprise architecture capability).

A key aspect of the role is close collaboration with the PM&I AI & Innovation team acting as the primary interface to identify automation opportunities and ensure readiness for AI-enabled process transformation.

Key responsibilities

A. People leadership & capability building

  • Manage coach and develop a team of junior senior and expert-level process professionals fostering a high-performance culture grounded in collaboration accountability and continuous learning.
  • Ensure the teams development performance and alignment with strategic priorities through clear objectives feedback and coaching routines.
  • Build a shared way of working and consistent quality across the team by reinforcing standards repeatable practices and knowledge-sharing.
  • Enable rapid learning and support your team through an aggressive learning curve on Atradius business operations and sources of business value

B. Stakeholder management demand shaping & expectation management

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand operational challenges secure buy-in for process changes and support implementation.
  • Act as a principal point of contact for stakeholders ensuring transparent communication on priorities progress constraints and dependencies.
  • Negotiate and manage expectations across competing demands to protect focus on enterprise priorities and achievable outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross unit and team collaboration to bring the right people and knowledge together at the right time to inform decisions drive alignment and ultimately deliver change.

C. Strategic alignment & planning

  • Translate organisational strategy into actionable process improvement direction and ensure the teams efforts are aligned with enterprise priorities and PM&I ambition.
  • Contribute as a member of the PM&I Management Team to shaping the broader Process Management & Innovation agenda.
  • Act as the driving force to identify process change priorities and the resulting digital enablement to have highest impact on the business value. This means you need to be pragmatic and be able to bridge the worlds of process and IT to understand the tradeoffs and feasibility of change at a high level to drive impact over theory.

D. Process excellence delivery (enablement & oversight)

  • Oversee the design documentation and optimisation of end-to-end business processes using LEAN and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ensure delivery quality and consistency across process initiatives by reinforcing structured methods and fit-for-purpose artefacts.

E. Governance & standards

  • Ensure adherence to process management standards methodologies and quality controls promoting consistency and reusability across process initiatives.
  • Strengthen governance routines and role clarity to enable predictable execution and effective collaboration across business and IT stakeholders.

F. Collaboration with AI & Innovation

  • Act as the primary interface between the Process Management team and the PM&I Innovation/GenAI teams to identify automation opportunities and ensure readiness for AI-enabled process transformation
  • Partner with AI & Innovation to translate process insights into automation candidates improvement backlogs and scalable adoption opportunities.

G. Performance monitoring & value realisation

  • Define and track KPIs to measure the impact of process improvements and ensure sustainable value delivery.
  • Provide regular visibility to stakeholders and leadership on outcomes performance trends and improvement impact.

Your profile

Experience & competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in people leadership including coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams and creating a culture of collaboration accountability and
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills: able to build durable relationships with senior stakeholders shape demand negotiate priorities and support implementation of changes.
  • Proven ability to align process excellence efforts with enterprise priorities and deliver outcomes in complex organisational environments.
  • Comfortable operating at Management Team level contributing to direction-setting for PM&I and ensuring alignment across Process Management Business Enterprise Architecture and Innovation.
  • Affinity for and foundational knowledge of AI and enablement of Agentic operations.
  • Demonstrated experience bridging business and IT with fluency in the language priorities and constraints of both

Education & qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business IT Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
  • Lean / Continuous Improvement and/or change leadership certification (e.g. Lean Green Belt/Black Belt Prosci) is an advantage
