Steele Honda is seeking a Tool Room Attendant to join our team!

Located at 547 Kenmount Road St. Johns NL A1B 3P9

As a Tool Room Attendant at Steele Honda you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department. Your responsibilities will include direct interaction with customers suppliers and technicians offering information service and utilizing the online parts catalogue to source required components.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage tool and equipment check-in/check-out ensuring accurate tracking and availability.

• Control access to key shop equipment and perform pre- and post-use inspections reporting any issues promptly.

• Maintain and service tools and equipment including routine upkeep and monitoring supply levels.

• Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.

• Keep the toolroom clean organized and safe including regular filter changes and thorough inspections.

• Support overall shop cleanliness and ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently.

Requirements:

• 2 Years of previous Automotive experience
• Knowledge of Scan Tools Brake Lathe A/C Machine MIG Welder Vehicle Lift/Hoist Operation Bench Grinder considered an asset
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
• Fluency with Microsoft Office software
• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
• An eagerness to learn and strong attention to detail
