Job Summary
Position Title: Radiology Tech / X-ray Tech
Location: Falmouth MA
Type: Contract
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiology Tech / X-ray Tech for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth MA.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic (X-ray) procedures using ionizing radiation safely
- Prepare patients and set up imaging equipment for examinations
- Position patients and adjust immobilization devices for optimal imaging
- Obtain patient history and clinical information for diagnostic support
- Ensure patient safety comfort and proper explanation of procedures
- Evaluate image quality and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Assist physicians with procedures such as needle biopsies
- Maintain radiology equipment supplies and departmental workflow
- Follow radiation safety infection control and hospital policies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification (or registry eligible)
- Massachusetts state license required
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills in English
