What you will do:

• Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood urine spinal fluids and gastric juices.

• Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells using microscopic techniques and procedures

• Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment

Position Hours:

32 hours Day Shift every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college/university or Associates Degree in an MLT certification program.

• MT MLS or MLT-ASCP or equivalent level certification by one of the professional societies. Or must be eligible to obtain certification within the first year of employment.

• Prior experience preferred in one or more of the following: Blood Bank Microbiology Bacteriology Virology Parasitology Mycology Mycobacteriology Immunology Molecular Diagnostics Core Lab Hematology Coagulation Routine Chemistry Urinalysis) and Special Chemistry.

Pay Range: $30.10 - $48.15

Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
