The Opportunity
We are looking for a service-driven F&B Reservations Agent to join our Food & Beverage team.
As the first point of contact for our dining venues you will play an important role in creating a positive guest experience from the very beginning. You will manage reservations handle guest enquiries and ensure each booking is handled smoothly and accurately.
With strong attention to detail and a warm professional approach you will help anticipate guest needs and set the tone for a great dining experience. You will also work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth service and consistent standards across all venues.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage reservations across all dining venues ensuring accuracy and timely updates in booking systems
- Handle guest enquiries via phone and email with professionalism warmth and efficiency
- Maintain detailed and accurate guest profiles including preferences special occasions and dietary requirements
- Coordinate closely with restaurant events and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor availability and optimise bookings to maximise covers while maintaining guest experience standards
- Manage waitlists cancellations and modifications effectively
- Provide clear and accurate information on menus operating hours and venue offerings
- Support pre-arrival planning and group bookings where required
- Assist with administrative tasks reporting and data entry related to reservations
- Resolve guest concerns or escalate when necessary ensuring a positive outcome
- Uphold brand standards in all guest communications and interactions
Profile
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality environment
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in handling guest and team interactions over the phone
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Highly organised with strong administrative and data entry capabilities
- Ability to work independently while confidently seeking support when required
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Collaborative positive attitude with a flexible approach to work
