Position Statement:
The Senior Manager will assist in the review and development of the architecture process across Development hotel projects in KSA. The AD&C team provides support to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders facilitating pipeline growth of all Hilton brands across the region. Working closely with the Director of Architecture to enhance the quality of design and all architectural responsibilities associated with development growth supporting stakeholders in the KSA region.
Position Summary:
As the Senior Manager Architecture KSA you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Assist the Director with all architecture responsibilities including technical review of all specifications detailed planning drawings and construction details to meet both Brand and technical standards participating in value engineering opportunities working with vendors and Project Directors to meet project schedules and any design issue that impacts the overall success of renovations services.
Support architectural design for projects within KSA including new developments conversions and adaptive re-use projects particularly the pre-signing phase.
Work with the development team in creating property specific area programs which will form the basis of the architectural planning brief.
Assist development team in pre-signed deals to complete architectural plan reviews and direction to architects.
Contribute to region specific requirements to global Brand standards for all Hilton Brands.
Participate at projects Design Review Workshops/ Meetings.
Work with Owner/Developer design team and Project Directors. Design direct and guide consultants on each project to achieve Hilton Brands standards and requirements.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations to Owner/Developers Hilton management and Architecture Design & Construction.
Conduct project handovers with Project Directors upon signing of all deals.
Assist the AD&C team in the review of conversion opportunities to Hilton Brands.
Prepare presentations of selected projects for submittal to DRC (Design Review Committee).
Participate in post-opening Design reviews with Operation and AD&C.
Support Project Directors with Interior Design feedback on projects when required.
Stays knowledgeable about the Hotel Design industry and works to introduce new products and materials to the company as well as guiding design groups to their availability and potential project application.
Liaise with other AD&C functions including Interior Design team Engineers as well as internal Hilton departments such as Brand / F&B team / Operations as required.
Periodic site visits during construction with project directors to monitor the quality of work.
Close liaison with all Hilton brand representatives lending architectural support to all brand initiatives and new brand roll-outs relative to region.
Conduct project handovers with Hilton Project Directors once new projects are signed.
Building rapport with the development team internal departments consultants owners and franchisees to ensure effective working relationships.
The role will require frequent travel to projects in KSA

Applicants should have a proven background in architecture & design with significant experience of supporting the design and development of hotel projects.
Excels in problem-solving working under pressure and collaborating to meet deadlines.
Ability to work on multiple projects across multiple countries with different stakeholders.
Ability to work independently with strong work ethic punctual nature and a dedicated team member.
Strong inter-personal skills to communicate effectively and build working relationships across the region. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Microsoft 365 applications Bluebeam PDF Revu
Upholds ethical standards handles sensitive information with absolute discretion and takes initiative to achieve goals.
Required Qualifications
University degree or extensive experience in lieu.
Qualified architect with strong design space planning skills and hotel understanding.
Five (5) years work experience in hospitality design.
A thorough understanding of hospitality architecture.
Ability to speak write and communicate fluently in Arabic and English.
Ability to access the Holy Cities.
Preferred Qualifications
Currently working for or previously employed by a major international hotel company in similar capacity or major design or management role in architectural practice specialising in hotel and large mixed-use developments across KSA.
