If the appointees cannot complete the Blood-taking Training and ECG Training under Corporate Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training and passed the assessments/tests their employment with the Hospital Authority may be terminated.
Serving staff who have completed F.3/ S.3 or equivalent and have 2 years care related experience within HA may also be considered. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level.

Position:	Patient Care Assistant II (Department of Family Medicine & Primary Health Care)

Salary:	HK$19764 HK$24701 per month
	Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1.	Provide quality blood taking service.
2.	Perform ECG visual acuity test.
3.	Assist in health assessment to nursing instruction.
4.	Provide non-blood specimen collection service.
5.	Perform basic vital sign measurement and data input.
6.	Perform basic patient care in out-patient setting.
7.	Handle general enquiries; assist in coordinating patient flow and queue control.
8.	Instruct patient for investigation and referral service.
9.	Perform preparation cleaning and disinfection of medical equipment and consultation room facilities.
10.	Perform chaperon for examination and tasks assigned by clinic in-charge.

Entry Requirements:
1.	Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks); AND
2.	Possess the following certificates that issued by Hospital Authority (see Remarks)
	(a)	Module (A): Blood-taking Training under Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training; Or Module (A): Blood-taking Training under TSA(CA) Training or equivalent.
	(b)	Module (B) : ECG Training under Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training; Or Module (B) : ECG Training under TSA(CA) Training or equivalent.
3.	Good command of English and Chinese written and spoken.
Preferable Attributes/Exposure:
1.	Knowledge of PC applications.
2.	Mature presentable and with good communication skill.
3.	Experience in blood taking patient care experience in Family Medicine Clinics (FMC) general care and special program is preferred.
