Senior Engineer-Chemical Eng, SDS,CLP Regulations

Job responsibilities:

• Controlling and validating environmental data collection and maintenance on all types of components in the corporate database

• Controlling and validating data on chemical mixtures. Analyzing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from manufacturers

• Querying/Surveying components manufacturers for data collection

• Performing data consolidations and communicating summary results

• Assess and monitor obsolescence associated with chemical products

• Ensure compliance with internal requirements in terms of deadlines data quality and reliability

Technical Skills & Experience

Bachelors/ Masters in Chemistry and Materials Science with a minimum of 4- 8 years experience in technical environment (Materials and Processes Engineering chemistry environmental regulations or electronic).

• Strong technical knowledge of metallic and non-metallic materials composites and chemical products.

• Familiarity with international standards for materials and processes (ISO EN MIL etc.).

• Experience and understanding of European chemical regulations including REACh RoHS F-GAS.

• Familiarity with chemical risk assessment classification and labelling (CLP regulation)

• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and lookup functions.

• Experience with databases and managing large volumes of parts is a plus.
