The position
As a Senior Frontend Developer you will play a key role in shaping the frontend architecture and technical direction of a modular multi-brand CMS platform powering dozens of international websites with a strong focus on hands-on day-to-day development. You will contribute to frontend standards support architectural decisions and actively evolve the platforms UI ecosystem through implementation work.

You will design and oversee the implementation of both server-rendered (Twig/HTML) templates and dynamic component-driven interfaces using React and TypeScript ensuring consistency performance and long-term maintainability. You will act as a technical leader within the frontend domain guiding best practices mentoring developers and ensuring architectural coherence across multiple brands and markets.

You will collaborate closely with a backend/full stack team solution architect and agency resources to ensure clean code scalable design and maintainable user interfaces. The role requires a passion for structured reusable frontend systems optimized with AI a solid understanding of CSS architecture and a keen eye for design detail.

Your key responsibilities:

• Implementing Frontend Views and Components
• Design and implement scalable accessible and high-performance frontend architectures including Twig-based server-rendered templates using HTML SCSS and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop modular frontend components in React TypeScript following design system patterns.
• Ensure frontend code integrates seamlessly with Symfony/Sulu backend using Symfony AssetMapper.

• System Architecture and Design Integration
• Lead the implementation of design systems design tokens and component libraries ensuring consistency across multiple brands and international markets.
• Architect and evolve a hybrid frontend architecture (Twig React) that supports progressive enhancement future headless CMS strategies and multi-brand maintain and evolve a component library shared across multiple sites.

• Collaboration Across Teams
  • Coordinate closely with backend/fullstack developers to align API/data contracts.
  • Work with UX/UI designers content teams and product managers to ensure pixel-perfect and content-flexible implementations.
  • Lead code reviews architectural discussions and frontend quality initiatives mentoring other developers and maintaining high engineering frontend performance optimization accessibility standards and technical improvements across the platform.

Your profile
We expect that you bring:

• Solid experience in frontend development (3 years) ideally in modular CMS or component-driven projects.
• Solid knowledge of HTML CSS (Tailwind or utility-first) and SCSS architecture (BEM ITCSS etc.).
• Comfortable with React TypeScript including reusable component creation and state handling (hooks preferred).
• Familiarity with vanilla JS but also good judgement on when to use a lightweight lib (e.g. Stimulus or similar) that plays well with server-rendered pages and Symfony.
• Awareness of Symfony AssetMapper or similar build-less asset management.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot other AI code assistants) to improve productivity and code quality.
• Ability to balance performance maintainability and visual fidelity across multiple brands.
