Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail

AECOM is seeking a highly talented self-driven and motivated  Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail to be based in the NY NJ Metro area working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group. 

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area

• Manage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables meet schedules and stay within project budgets

• Responsible for administering the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement

• Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects

• Coordinate closely with clients contractors and project partners

• Project types includes Design-Build Development of Bridging Documents and Design-Bid-Build

• Respond to client issued RFQ and RFPs provide guidance to marketing for Transit Rail pursuits

• Act as pursuit manager on proposals for NY Metro Transit Rail clients

• Assist with strategy on pursuits and overall client approach  

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements: 

• BA/BS 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership

• Must have Transit Experience 

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills 

Preferred Requirements: 

• 15 Years of Experience with NY metro rail agencies including MTA PA/NY/NJ and NJ Transit

• 10 Years of Experience in Design Project Management Role

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
