Strategic Sales Development Lead (B2B SaaS exp req) Description
Our client in the SaaS industry is looking for a Strategic Sales Development Lead to add to their team in Colorado Springs CO. This role is a hybrid of new market development (50%) and existing client expansion and account management (50%) with the biggest focus on growth. Leveraging your experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales you will help identify and develop new market opportunities including enterprise sales strategies. This role is well-suited for candidates who easily build relationships have proven sales outcomes and have experience driving new business in new markets/verticals. Success in this role will come from fearless efforts to grow existing business and build new revenue streams through direct outreach. Strategic Sales Development Lead (B2B SaaS exp req) Responsibilities
Maintain and grow relationships with key client accounts
Drive retention renewals and account expansion (upsell/cross-sell)
Collaborate internally to improve customer experience communication and onboarding
Participate in daily team meetings
Develop and manage new sales pipeline to achieve sales targets through outbound efforts
Assess and prioritize adjacent markets
Develop and test go-to-market sales strategies across industries and buyer segments
Generate new business through partnership referral channel and association opportunities
Lead sales efforts for the markets and opportunities
Work directly with leadership to shape growth strategy for new products/market segments
Improve sales processes reporting and overall discipline
Strategic Sales Development Lead (B2B SaaS exp req) Qualifications
3 years of B2B SaaS sales experience required
Cold outbound sales experience required
Proven ability to generate new opportunities/growth required
CRM experience required
Experience integrating AI into your sales process required
