Cafeteria Attendant

JOB OVERVIEW

Under the general guidance of the Sous Chef the Staff Café Attendant plays an essential role in supporting our Heart of House by maintaining a welcoming clean and well-stocked team dining environment. This role ensures our colleagues are cared for with the same level of attention warmth and quality that defines our brand.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and maintain team member cafeteria with attention to cleanliness presentation and organization.
• Ensure food stations are fully stocks replenished and presented in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas including tables chairs service stations and equipment.
• Assist with receiving organizing and storing food and supplies
• Follow all food safety sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Support basic food preparation and service as needed
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
• Provide warm friendly and professional experience for all team members
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service. 
• We will on occasion call for each individual on the team to perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.

Qualifications :

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Previous experience in food service cafeteria or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Team oriented with a positive and service-driven attitude
• Basic understanding of food safety standards
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Ability to multitask work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other team members and departments
• Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift
• Must be able to twist tow (push or pull) reach bend climb and carry objects as necessary
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read write speak and understand English
• Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed based upon business volumes
