Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable automotive technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose repair and maintain various vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Automotive Technician must adhere to safety standards and maintain accurate service records while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes tire rotations fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues
• Replace parts (brakes suspensions engines etc.)
• Conduct safety and performance inspections
• Follow OEM and dealership procedures
• Document services performed accurately
• Communicate with service advisors and customers
• Maintain a clean organized work area
• Stay current with automotive technology

What You Bring

• 23 years of experience as a technician or mechanic
• Associate degree or technical certification (preferred)
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Strong diagnostics and repair skills
• Team player with attention to detail and time management
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and shop equipment

Work Conditions

• Shop environment with lifts tools and diagnostic equipment
• Regular standing bending lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Exposure to noise fumes and moving vehicles
• Occasional local travel for training or test drives
