As a Security Officer Armed Site Patrol in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a public education location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical situations and/or critical events in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas athletic spaces and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and campus grounds for unusual behavior access control issues and/or policy violations while assisting with directions and general inquiries.
• Support public sector operations by following post orders maintaining visible presence during school and after-hours activities and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
