Context
The Commercial Specialist supports the commercial and operational needs of the project with a particular focus on subcontracting activities and assistance to the wider project team on non-technical matters.
Missions/Main Duties
- Manage project needs related to subcontracting including coordination and follow-up of required commercial support activities.
- Support project teams in the delivery of day-to-day commercial and administrative tasks.
- Assist the wider project team with non-technical issues and help facilitate internal coordination across functions.
- Contribute to the effective handling of commercial matters in a fast-paced project environment.
- Act as a reliable internal point of support for stakeholders requiring guidance on non-technical project-related topics.
Profile/Skills
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Commerce Law Project Management or a related field.
Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial contract support subcontracting or project coordination role
Technical competencies:
- Experience managing or coordinating subcontracting-related needs within projects.
- Good understanding of commercial support activities in a project-based environment.
- Ability to work on a variety of non-technical issues in support of multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both in French and in English*
