We are looking for a Roofer (Construction Worker) to join our manufacturing facility in Kamloops.
Reporting to the Lead Hand the Roofer installs repairs and replaces roofing materials systems on modular buildings. The role demands working at heights physical endurance a strong focus on safety and attention to detail to ensure roofing systems are weatherresistant and meet all building code requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Install roofing materials according to manufacturer specifications
Gather material needed for assembly of units Installation of small finishing items
Pre-assembly of components read and interpret blueprints
Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation.
Install underlayment flashing drip edges vents and ridge caps
Measure and cut roofing materials to fit roof structures
Repair or replace damaged roofing components
Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing
Follow safety procedures and use fall-protection equipment
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Work effectively as part of a team
Use hand and power tools safely
Other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
Previous experience as a roofer working with EPDM TPO and Shingles
Knowledge of roofing tools materials and techniques
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Physically fit; able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
Attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Fall Arrest Safety Training
