Job Summary

An opportunity has become available to join our global network of Mainfreight drivers as a Company Driver for the Wellington transport team. Delivering an average of 5500 deliveries a week our transport team are responsible for co-ordinating deliveries and collections to and from our customers around the Wellington region.

This opportunity suits someone who:

Has a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude.
Has a genuine love of dealing with people.
Is 100% compliant with all health and safety regulations and puts team safety first
As the face of our business a clean and tidy appearance sense of humour andstrong customer services skills are a must!
Has experience delivering LCL freight using a flatdeck truck.
Has knowledge of the Wellington region.

**You will need a current and full Class 2 Truck License. A Dangerous Goods License and Forklift License will be required but we can work with you to gain these if needed.

In addition to driving the applicant would be expected to develop and understanding of our Transport processes which will include taking responsibilities outside of driving.
