As a Security Officer Armed Driver Rover in Odessa TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location you will drive through assigned areas perform routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role combines customer service communication and rapid response while supporting a caring culture built on teamwork reliability and integrity. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location including entrances exits sales floor areas parking areas and perimeter points as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity policy violations and/or potential theft concerns and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support opening and closing activities assist with access control and restricted area monitoring and report hazards maintenance concerns and/or security-related issues to site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement corrections or military experience or a minimum of 5 or more years of armed security-related experience is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military law enforcement or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
  • Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (4) years armed experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
