Diesel Truck Mechanic (Entry-Level Trainee)

The Diesel Truck Mechanic Trainee works alongside experienced diesel technicians to learn and assist in the maintenance and repair of semi-trucks diesel engines and on-road fleet vehicles. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career working on heavy-duty diesel trucks.

What Youll Do

• Learn diesel engine systems including fuel electrical emissions andsystems
• Work side-by-side with experienced diesel mechanics on semi-trucks and fleet vehicles
• Build foundational diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Assist with routine maintenance on diesel trucks (oil changes filters batteries fluids)
• Support inspections and preventative maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers
• Assist with moving trucks in and out of the shop safely
• Help maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Support technicians drivers and service team as needed

What Youll Bring

• A high school diploma or GED (trade/tech school a plus)
• Someone whoshands-on mechanically curious and eager to learn
• A team player with integrity and a safety-first mindset
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
