Job Summary
- Permanent full-time position for 38 hours per week
- Based out of Parramatta offering hybrid working options
- $148386.65 base salary plus superannuation!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for aBusiness Analystto join thePeople & Governance teamwithin Sydney Water. As a Business Analyst you will identify analyse and collaborate with the business to documentbusiness processes ServiceNow platform impacts workflows and functional requirementsto facilitate continuous improvement and support the efficient delivery of business operations and performance in line with organisational strategies and operational plans.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyse document and collaborate in a way that ensures positive working relationships with Process Owners Digital Group teams and end-users resolving competing priorities and requirements in the best interests of SWC.
- Collaborate Analyse and document end-to-end process with the intent to identify areas of potential improvement automation and improved user experience through Service Now.
- Review and sign off documentation that clearly articulates the business problem proposed ServiceNow-based solution and measurable value or outcomes.
- Provide timely data analysis and insights that encourage constructive conversations with Process Owners to better troubleshoot issues understand user experience and desired measurable benefits.
- Gather analyse and translate business data to meaningful insights to support informed decision making to improve the effectiveness of processes and programs.
- Support Service Now Program delivery during the requirement definition testing change impact go-live and hyper care phase.
- Investigate and respond to service tickets and related system business user enquiries in a timely manner.
- Support the management of change requests enhancements and incidents across ServiceNow modules in collaboration with technical teams.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business or a related field
- Bachelors degree in information technology (welcomed by not essential)
- 4 years experience working as a Business Analysis in a large complex organisation.
- Experience in a full end to end SaaS HR and Financial project / program implementation (Service Now desirable) to improve the solution design and ensure business requirements are met.
- Must have foundational experience in Service Management System (Service New desirable)
- Demonstrated business and IT experience including expert knowledge in business analysis including the end-to-end management of change and maintenance requests and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in the research investigation and the provision of practical solutions to business issues.
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills.
