You will join the new logistics organization as part of Airbus Helicopters Spain.
YOUR CHALLENGES
The Head of Operations Spain is accountable of the End-to-End Logistics Operations of Airbus Helicopters in Spain with the objective to continuously drive operational excellence to meet internal & external customer needs and to achieve benchmark competitiveness of Airbus Helicopters Global Logistics set up.
The Head of Logistics Operations drives end-to-end performance in performance monitoring and improvement and customers satisfaction.
The Head of Logistics Operations develops the competence of the team towards logistics encompassing the implementation.
The first 3 years of this role will focus on launching the Albacete Hub a strategic pillar of the companys growth.
There are 3 phases: preparation for the entry into service start and ramp-up of activities and serial stabilization.
YOUR TASKS:
Manage primary Spanish logistics platforms in Albacete Chinchilla and Almansa driving operational efficiency across the regional supply chain.
Direct Logistics Service Provider (LSP) relationships and performance successfully administering a 20M annual logistics contract.
Ensure uninterrupted service delivery and supply chain continuity for critical internal stakeholders including Final Assembly Lines Flight Lines Centers of Excellence and Support & Services.
Coordinate global distribution networks overseeing worldwide shipments while ensuring on-time delivery and international compliance.
