Associate Product Manager, London
Job Summary
Lab49 is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to support the development and execution of innovative product solutions for ourpartnership with ION to service this exciting role you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into well-defined product requirements manage backlogs and ensure the smooth execution of product delivery roadmaps.
This position is ideal for someone who is a Product Managerwith 2-5 years of experience who is ready to take on more ownership while gaining exposure to client interaction and growth initiatives in an agile fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the backlogwrite refine and prioritize user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering UX and business teams to ensure alignment on feature development and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with developers and QA to clarify requirements troubleshoot issues andvalidatefeature completion.
- Assistin defining and executing the product roadmap ensuring alignment with businessobjectives.
- Conduct competitive analysis and user research to inform product decisions and prioritization.
- Support sprint planning backlog grooming and other agile ceremonies tomaintaindevelopment momentum.
- Define and track key product performance metrics using data to drive continuous improvements.
- Eager to take on a variety of responsibilities beyond core delivery including contributing to product governance and driving continuous improvement through enhanced processes tools and reporting.
- Support client engagements byidentifyingopportunities to expand product scope or propose follow-on work collaborating with senior productmanagersand delivery leads.
- Help prepare materials for client or internal showcases including case studies user feedback summaries or product previews todemonstratevalue and progress.
Required Skills and experience
- 2-5 years of experience in product management or a related role (business analyst product owner etc.).
- Strong experience writing user stories acceptance criteria and defining done for development teams.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies including sprint planning backlog management and iterative development.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA Confluence or similar product management tools.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers UX designers and stakeholders to balance business needs with technical feasibility.
- Strong analytical mindsetcomfortable using data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive product decisions and improve performance.
Nice to have
- Capital Markets domain knowledge.
- Experience working on enterprise-level software or fintech products.
- Exposure toAPI-driven development and technical product considerations.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with the consulting environmentcomfortable working in client-facing roles and contributing to account growth.
