Job Summary

Position Role: SO3 J7 is the 2IC of the BCTs J7 Cell and is responsible for all individual training guidance direction and policy in the BCT.

Responsibilities:
1. Deputise for SO2 J7 coordinating managing and leading the J7 team as required.
2. Coordinate with the HQs J3/5 and J5 cells and 16X units to cohere all BCT training activity.
3. Review and update individual training policy in line with wider doctrine and policy.
4. Held @R2 ready to deploy with the HQ and support the operational planning process when required.
5. Through close coordination with Colchester Garrison and other stakeholders support the delivery and maintenance of training infrastructure across the BCT.
6. Support the BCTs approach to technical research and force development activity (16Xs Pj CHIMERA).
7. Maintain oversight of physical development and educational opportunities in 16X.
8. Support operational analysis as required.
