Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: 120 Spalding Drive Naperville
Full Time: 36 hours
Hours: Monday-Friday- 8am - 4:30pm

A Brief Overview:
The Ultrasound Technologist II is an experienced role responsible for performing a wide range of advanced ultrasound procedures and providing expert technical support. This position requires a deep understanding of ultrasound techniques equipment and patient care as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
What you will do:
Perform a variety of advanced ultrasound procedures including abdominal vascular obstetric gynecologic and other specialized examinations to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout examinations.
Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality and accuracy demonstrating proficiency in various scanning techniques.
Conduct regular quality control checks on ultrasound equipment and maintain records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Accurately document patient information procedure details and image data in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure the safe use of ultrasound equipment and adherence to safety protocols including proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
Collaborate closely with radiologists physicians and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images provide input on patient care plans and assist in clinical decision-making.
Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology safety protocols and clinical best practices through ongoing education and training.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED - Required
A minimum of an Associates Degree or higher - Preferred
Certified or proof of eligibility for certification (i.e. letter of eligibility issued by accredited school) by ARRT (S)(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Sonography) or ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Must be certified and currently registered as RDMS (OB or AB) RT(S) RT (VS) RVT or RVS within 6 months of start date into position. - Required
Current CPR BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association - Required
OB/GYN experience: Preferred
