Position Overview

This is where structural engineering meets full-project influence. As a Structural Project Manager you will lead the execution of complex building projects while ensuring seamless integration between structural systems and Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) design. Youll move beyond isolated calculations and into a role that directly shapes how multidisciplinary teams deliver coordinated buildable solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction ensuring alignment with scope schedule and client expectations
• Drive coordination between structural and Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems to eliminate conflicts and optimize building performance
• Review and oversee structural calculations drawings and specifications to maintain technical accuracy and design integrity
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards including IBC ASCE and ACI
• Manage project timelines budgets and deliverables to support successful and efficient project execution
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients architects contractors and internal engineering teams
• Conduct site visits and field investigations proactively resolving design and construction challenges
• Support construction administration activities including RFIs submittals and coordination with field teams
• Contribute to internal collaboration efforts helping streamline workflows and improve project delivery processes

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience: 38 years of structural engineering experience with project management exposure
• Coordination Expertise: Proven experience working alongside Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems in a multidisciplinary environment
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural design principles and applicable codes (IBC ASCE ACI)
• Software: Proficiency in ETABS SAP2000 AutoCAD and Revit
• Communication: Ability to lead coordination efforts and communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license (or actively pursuing)
• Experience with commercial and/or large-scale residential developments
• Strong background in construction administration and field coordination
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects with increasing responsibility
