| Pay | : | HK$32140 to HK$37590 (HGPS point 12 to 15) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
1. To assist Hospital Chef I in providing various patient food services including provisions of patient food & beverage stock control goods ordering & receiving and other related patient catering services.
2. To responsible for monitoring the daily operation of the kitchen including food portioning meal tray assembly meal delivery environmental hygiene etc.
3. Responsible for implementing the work guidelines of ISO 22000/9001 in the kitchen.
4. Handling documentation of ISO 22000/9001I food ordering good receiving and managing the cold rooms (such as stock level / expiry date checking etc.).
5. Manage and supervise the daily performance of outsourced staff to ensure the accuracy safety and hygiene of food to patients.
6. Responsible for work arrangement training daily work briefing of outsourced staff.
7. To assist in completing annual work task of Catering including menu planning patient satisfaction and food waste survey contingency drill and consumption study of patient food.
8. To perform designated checklist for quality assurance and quality control.
9. Regularly inspect and maintain in kitchen equipment and facilities to prevent any disruptions in kitchen.
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. Certificate in Hotel Catering and Institutional Operations or equivalent; or Chef Apprenticeship; and
2. With a minimum of 2 years bulk cooking experience.
Preferred Attributes/Exposure:
1. Mature responsible self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
2. A good team player and able to work in collaboration with others to deliver results.
3. Good communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
4. Experience in attaining and executing Integrated Management System of ISO 22000 / 9001/ 14001 / 45001 is an advantage.
5. Good knowledge in application of computer software including Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Presentation) and Chinese Word processing.
6. Good knowledge in using HA systems including DCMS CMMS ERP and SRS.
7. Experience in managing a large number of in-house and contract-out staff is an advantage.
