Job Summary
Job Title: Senior AI Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build and deploy a production-grade AI-powered knowledge search platform using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You will work on scalable secure and bilingual AI solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end RAG pipelines (retrieval reranking LLM orchestration)
- Build data ingestion pipelines (CMS and document sources chunking embeddings)
- Develop prompt templates guardrails and evaluation frameworks
- Implement security controls (ACLs access filtering)
- Deploy and manage services using Terraform Helm and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Support performance tuning and operations during early production phases
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Python and AI/ML systems
- Hands-on experience with RAG LLMs and vector databases
- Experience with Azure (AKS Azure OpenAI API Management)
- Proven experience with Terraform and Kubernetes/Helm
- Experience building and deploying production AI systems
Languages:
- Dutch or French (fluent)
- English (professional proficiency)
Work Setup:
- Location: Brussels (hybrid 23 days on-site)
- Contract: Long-term mission (up to 880 working days)
Additional Requirements:
- Experience delivering RAG systems to production
- Ability to work on-site 23 days per week
